Bit of History
Geetika Software was established in 1996. Since then we’ve provided consulting and development on many variety of business requirements and technologies. So we started with programming in Clipper – the then DBMS with very little objects on it and made some of the biggest systems that we would never ever try in the rest of our lives. 🙂
Initially our work was focussed on Pharmaceutical industry and moved to the general manufacturing side and small trading firms. The other side of focus was on schools and non government organizations. You won’t believe, some institutions still run these DOS based systems on either a Windows 98 or DOS 6.22 machines and do their daily work. There are those decade old systems!
Somewhere around 2000 is when we started working on Windows Applications using Visual Basic 6.0 and Access or SQL Server based systems. Pretty much same clientèle or new ones doing similar activities upgraded their systems or got fresh ones done.
Now we pushed most of these back and moved to web technologies – in the past 7 years or so, we’ve done plain vanila html sites to some hard core heavy duty portals and business applications.
